in 2001, and that has given sleep-less nights to reach-out to various NGOs
and to effectively undertake the technology dissemination commitments,
in the reconstruction phase. That has been ‘the journey of life’ for our
founder of CIBTech / chairman cum managing director, Mr N G BHAGAVAN, which has inspired the vision to plan
for establishing CIBTech.
In the first couple of decades of new
millennium, the reinforced masonry and confined masonry systems are
developed and promoted as disaster resistant construction technologies.
Passionate and volunteer engineering support is offered to various
international NGOs during the reconstruction phases in Philippines after
the 2013’s deadly mega-super cyclone and Nepal’s 2015 earthquakes.
Establishment of CIBTech by 2021, for developing and promoting
innovative building technologies, is the culmination in this story.
